KOER dev is a growing team of software engineers with a strong passion for modern technologies and clean, readable code. Teamwork and direct communication are the core values on which we build our success.
KOER enables asset owners to generate revenue by connecting to our smart KOER platform. We use modern tools and methodologies to ensure our work is efficient and high quality. Our cloud platform is built on a decoupled architecture, with an ASP.NET Core Web API powering the backend and an Angular-based frontend. We believe that good planning is half the job done, which is why the entire team is involved in the planning of new releases. Good plans require good tools, we use JIRA, Confluence, and Balsamiq to turn ideas into actionable sprint goals. To automate and avoid repetitive tasks, we rely on Azure DevOps for CI pipelines. It’s also our go-to tool for Pull Requests, which play a vital role in our development process, helping us improve our code, our product, and ourselves as engineers.
When we deeply understand the problem, finding a solution becomes the logical next step. Thorough analysis at the outset ensures that the execution phase runs smoothly and efficiently. With each new cycle, we learn, adapt, and improve, because we believe in the power of continuous improvement.

We work on projects that involve technologies of the next energy revolution, where innovative and disruptive solutions are part of our everyday work, requiring creativity and continuous learning. We use cutting-edge technologies and a wide tech stack, a great opportunity to develop new skills and realize your full potential. We collaborate with leading companies and academic institutions in the energy sector.
We value open and honest communication within the team. We’re deeply involved in developing our own product, which means there’s no routine “coding on command.” Helping colleagues is a top priority. We follow agile practices, including flexible working hours and work from home. Besides the work itself, we occasionally organize BBQs and team buildings, but always with zero social pressure, your private life stays yours.
We invest a lot of effort in making the onboarding process smooth for new team members. Every newcomer gets a mentor to guide them through various processes. We’ve also prepared detailed documentation to help set up the work environment and tackle common challenges. Not everyone is familiar with our tools from day one, so we provide time for online learning (e.g., via Pluralsight) before assigning the first “real” task. We encourage participation in various tech conferences and financially support our team members in attending these events regularly.
